Indian River Central School District is committed to fostering positive academic, behavioral, and social development of our students. The Pupil Personnel Services Department has a long history of providing school counseling, school psychology, and school social worker services designed to meet the inpidual needs of our perse population\ The Student Services Office at Indian River Middle School is centered around supporting the overall well-being of our students while promoting social, emotional, academic, and career growth and exploration. Counselors are assigned the same cohort of students throughout the three years of middle school (grades 6-8) which allows students to form a positive and consistent relationship with an adult throughout their adolescent development\ The staff at Indian River Middle School firmly believe that a partnership between home and school is the key to student success. In addition to our bi-annual Parent-Teacher Conference nights, grade-level School Counselors can also schedule a Parent-Teacher Conference throughout the school year, to meet as a team and discuss the progress of our students. We encourage parents to contact staff if there are any concerns.
